FastPictureViewer, a fast image viewer designed for photographers
Очень приятный и в самом деле молниеносный, в том числе при масштабировании кнопками мыши. ПЛ.с ряд других функций. Невероятно просто!
FastPictureViewer is a small and fast color-managed image viewer designed for professional photographers, so simple compared to usual photo viewers that its purpose might not be immediately apparent. The program is optimized to do just one task: browse entire folders of digital photos as quickly as possible. It allows for rapid sharpness checks (instant flip to 100% view), supports single-click copy of the keepers to a preset folder, along with single-keystroke Adobe XMP and Vista rating. A small EXIF window coupled with an instant, high-precision RGB histogram give you all the information you need about the pictures. That's about it, but it makes for one of the fastest image culling tool available, also ideal for full-screen chimping directly off the camera (or memory card), over USB2. Of course FastPictureViewer can just as well be used for speed-browsing, rating or labeling an existing picture collection, but it does not offer any image editing function, it's just a bare bone and quick photo viewer.
Features Highlight:
Free for personal, non-profit uses; supports JPEG and JPEG XR, aka HD Photo; Quick Adobe XMP rating function; EXIF shooting data display and real-time RGB histogram; Professional Edition available with TIFF and raw support for select cameras.
This product was inspired by a 2004 article by Eamon Hickey, published on Rob Galbraith's DPI website, about Sports Illustrated's unbelievable digital workflow. The article is an amazing read for sports photographers and photo enthusiasts alike, it also helps understand the motivation behind the creation of FastPictureViewer and some of its design choices.
Very recommended.
